Road Updates

The next Road Condition Assessment will be done is Spring 2026.

East Ridge Road Late Fall 2025

On December 11, 2025 Heart 7 Enterprises bladed East Ridge Road from Shane Ridge Road to Black Bear Drive. The road surface is now smoother and, fingers crossed, it will freeze again before the road gets much more traffic.

East Ridge Road Spring 2025

In May, Harrington Trucking spread gravel on pot hole areas and worked existing material along East Ridge Road from near Antelope Drive towards Black Bear Drive.

Beartooth Lane Spring 2025

In May, Harrington Trucking spread gravel on pot hole areas and worked existing material on portions of Beartooth Lane. It is acknowledged that additional gravel will be needed at the end of Beartooth lane that is now almost all native material.

Sharptail Ridge Road Spring 2025

In May, Harrington Trucking spread gravel on pot hole areas and worked existing material on portions of Sharptail Ridge Road.

East Ridge Road 2024

On August 29, 2024 Harrington Trucking & Excavation worked the rutted washboard section of East Ridge Road with particular focus on the steep slope just before Black Bear Drive. This work greatly improved the ride but is only a temporary "band-aid" fix until the HOA can afford a larger restoration of East Ridge Road.

The video was taken after the work was complete. Much better!!! Thanks Doug!

The board is preparing a strategic budget and spending plan to address East Ridge Road conditions long-term, and other future projects.

Bearpaw Creek Road

This project is complete!

AFTER REPAIRS! The video dated September 25, 2024 was taken after Heart 7 Enterprises completed the work. Thanks Heart 7!!! The work occurred over a 2 day period.

BEFORE REPAIRS! The video dated November 2, 2023 was taken almost a full year earlier and shows the road condition after Beartooth Electric (BEC) installed a new underground power line. It's a mess! And portions of the road will likely deteriorate again over winter 2024-2025. The HOA continues to pursue remedy from BEC.

2024 HOA Road Condition Assessment

Did you know Bearpaw Ranch HOA has just under 7.5 miles of private roads? On September 27, 2024 the board visually inspected and documented all private HOA roads. The summary and videos of each road are posted below.
